Foe called Fear. No more excuses.

As I was watching “The Biggest Loser” this week, Jillian Michaels, one of the personal trainers, had one of the contestants attempting to jump from a high platform into a pile of blue nerf-like cubes. As the woman’s fear smacked her in the face, she visibly became paralyzed and started to think about her semi-fear of heights. As I waited to see if the woman would jump or not, Jillian had the audacity to smacked me in the face with her next statement. “Feel the fear and do it anyway.” Enough said. I guess that eliminates any excuses I ever wanted to use for not attempting something in my life because of fear. Crap. Thanks Jillian, LIFE me…

  1. I love this post! Fear is something that needs to be overcome. I’m still working on it though cause there are some areas that fear has interfered and had prevented me from moving forward. Fear really paralyzes us and at times without us even knowing! Love the the posts already! Looking forward to more posts from you! Again happy birthday love

    1. Thanks for the bday wishes SoFenomenal! Listen, fear conquers faith for me a lot of the time in subtle ways that I don’t even recognize, lol. It’s something a lot of people don’t want to admit because we so easily rationalize and hid behind other explanation. It’s unfortunate to say but I’m glad that I’m getting more FEARLESS everyday! * karate chop* *roundhouse kick*
